When dropping off your pup the only thing you need to bring is their food! Bedding, dishes, toys, and treats will be provided by Pawsitive Dog Training School.
No. Dog's are in the moment creatures, as soon as I take the leash and lead them to the kennel area, they will only be thinking of the new environment that they are entering.
Yes. We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated, and on a flea and tick preventative. Proof of vaccination is required for all classes and board and train bookings.
Shea is a balanced trainer. This term refers to trainers who use all four quadrants of operant conditioning. To get a full understanding of Shea's training style he recommends reading How Dogs Learn by Dr. Mary R. Burch and Dr. Jon S. Bailey.
Dog's enrolled in the Board & Train programs will receive an E-Collar Technologies training collar. The collar that is used the most by Shea is the Mini Educator. It has three communications options: Tone, Vibrate and Stimulation. These collars are available to non-Board & Train clients as well.
