During the two week board and train program your dog will join us at our 9 acre facility to learn the foundations of obedience. Your pup will be with us for a total of 16 days! With this program you will also receive 6 private lessons, reduced future boarding rates, and an E-Collar Technologies training collar. The commands included in this program are:

During the four week board and train program your dog will join us at our 9 acre facility to learn the foundations of obedience, and begin their journey in advanced obedience. Your pup with be with us for a total of 31 days! With this program you will also receive 12 private lessons, reduced future boarding rates, and an E-Collar Technologies training collar.
This program is suggested for owners who want to train their dog in off-leash training, e-collar training, or who are preparing to enter the competition ring with their dog.
The commands included in this program are:

5. Bed
6. Heel/Loose Leash Walking
7. Leave It
7. Kennel Up
8. Quiet
In addition to these commands, Shea will work with you to develop a personalized training plan to help you reach your goals with your pup.

6+ Week Board & Train
During the six week board and train program your dog will join us at our 9 acre facility. Our six week board and train program is reserved for dogs who are ready for high-level competition training, or who have severe behavioral issues. In order to book this service you must first schedule a free behavioral consultation with Shea. With this program you will also receive 16 private lessons, reduced future boarding rates, and an E-Collar Technologies training collar. Dog's may stay longer during this program at no additional cost. They will graduate from the program upon Shea's approval.
For dogs who are ready for next-level obedience, the six week program prepares you for the obedience ring, rally ring, scent work, or agility.
For dogs with severe behavior issues, a personalized plan and clear expectations and goals will be set during the consultation.

Group Classes:
AKC Rally Obedience
AKC Rally® is all about teamwork. You and your dog navigate a course together, side-by-side, at your own brisk pace. You move him through a course with signs where he performs different exercises. The courses are designed by the Rally judge (10-20 signs per course, depending on the class level) that include various turns and commands such as sit, down, stay, etc.

AKC Competition Obedience
Think your dog is an A+ student? Are your friends and family jealous with how well you’ve trained your dog? Then you might want to take things to a new level by participating in Obedience competitions (known as “trials”).
Developed in the 1930s, Obedience is one of the AKC’s oldest sporting events, and it’s open to all dogs. From walking on- and off-leash to retrieving and jumping, or demonstrating your dog’s ability to stay, Obedience trials feature dogs that are well-behaved at home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs. It is essential that the obedience dog demonstrates willingness and enjoyment while it is working with the handler.
Whether or not you want to compete, every dog owner should consider some form of obedience training. It’s the best way to establish good communication skills between you and your dog – and to make sure that your dog is the most well-behaved one in your neighborhood!
These classes are separated into Novice, Open, and Utility. There is also a drop in class for students working on high titles and have already achieved their UD title.

Private Lessons & Evaluations
Free Behavioral Evaluation
A one hour in person meeting between you, your dog, and Shea to create a personalized plan for behavioral issues, and to agree on training remedies.
Private Lesson's
A one-on-one private training session with Shea to focus on your and your dog's training needs. Lesson's can take place either in-home, at our facility, or at our satellite facility in Bothell, WA.

Puppy's First Day Home
Shea will come and spend the day with you for your puppy's first full day home! He will instruct you on potty training, crate training, feeding schedules, and everything else a new puppy parent needs to know.

Litter Temperament Testing
Breeder's do you need to separate the companion pups from the working pups?! Shea is happy to help! Shea will temperament test your entire litter, and provide a full report on each pup.

Growing Your Family
Interested in rescuing a dog or working with a breeder? Shea will interview you and your family to develop a comprehensive list of potential dog breeds that would fit your lifestyle and family. This includes finding reputable rescues and breeders who Shea has personally worked with, and a full report on the top five dog breeds recommended for your household.
